Olympic Weights Top 20 Power Rankings: January 2020

The Olympic year is here! Here’s our first-ever ranking of Senior level women in the 6 Olympic weight classes. Keep in mind that this ranking has 4 less weight classes than our normal Senior level rankings do during non-Olympic years, which has the standard 10 weight classes. For that reason, these weight classes are deep, and will explain why many names you’ll normally see in our top 15 Senior level rankings are not here. Some women did not wrestle in an Olympic weight class, and therefore we did not rank them, and some women simply did not make the top 20.

Some of the depth is shocking. 57 kg in particular is loaded from top to bottom. You could make a case for every one of them to be in the top 10. For some, it came down to losing a takedown here, or giving up a turn there. In the end, congrats to all the women on this list! These are the best women in the United States right now.
