GREENSBORO, NC - A source that has a source who knows a source loosely connected with someone who attended Super 32 said that the event coordinators, because of the volume of participants, is considering changing their name to Super 101.2. “That’s the average number of entries per bracket this year,” said the source. “101.2 wrestlers.”
The effort hit an early road block, however, when they discovered that “Super 101.2” is similar name to a radio station in McAllen, TX, Super Tejano 102.1 FM. They play hits by Siggno, Joe Lopez, and Elida Reyna Y Avante. “Maybe if Super 32 only plays Tejano music at the event, they’ll let them do it,” said the source, who wasn’t sure how well-received that would be in North Carolina.
